Sealed Bids for CONTRACT NO. 1825 – Furnish & Deliver Chemicals and Technical Service for Treatment of Boiler Water, Steam and Condensate shall be received at the Engineering Department office of the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, 3300 Preble Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15233, until 11:00 A.M., Prevailing Time, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and then shall be publicly opened and read via Microsoft Virtual Teams Meeting. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held in person in the Engineering Conference
Room on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., Prevailing Time. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting.
ALCOSAN encourages businesses owned and operated by minorities and women to submit bids on Authority Contracts or to participate as subcontractors or suppliers to successful Bidders. Successful Bidders are to use minority and women’s businesses to the fullest extent possible.
Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the Engineering office of the Authority. The work to be performed under this contract is a Section 3 Project under

Particular attention is directed to requirements of Executive Order 11246, 11625 and 12138, as well as Section 3 requirements, as set forth in the Specifications. - DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Project entails the Repairs and
Preventative Maintenance of the First Avenue Garage and Station.
