C-TAC has a goal to ensure that everyone facing a serious illness has the care they need, when and where they need it, and it is a coalition of leaders advocating for those impacted by serious illness. C-TAC was formed in 2010. They work with legislators, decision makers, and advocates to find common ground and craft policies that deliver more comprehensive, equitable, and consistently funded care.

A core pillar of C-TAC’s work is to advocate for people understanding their options and making their end-of-life preferences and decisions known with an advance care plan and having those decisions respected by family, medical providers, and caregivers.
