Road Closures for Veterans Day Parade
Pittsburgh, PA – City of Pittsburgh Offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday. There will be no disruption to refuse service.
The following CitiParks Facilities will be closed for Veterans Day:
HEALTHY ACTIVE LIVING CENTERS (Senior Centers)
- CLOSED – Monday, November 11, 2024
RECREATION CENTERS
- CLOSED – Saturday, November 9 through Monday, November 11, 2024.
- The after-school meal program will not operate on Veteran’s Day.
MELLON PARK TENNIS CENTER
- Open Regular Operating Hours
Veterans Day Parade Road Closures:
Streets in a one block radius along the parade route will be blocked off for the Veterans Day Parade. Liberty Avenue between 10th and 26th Streets will close at 9am and is the staging area. The parade will begin at 10:30am on Liberty Avenue, continue to the reviewing stage located at 5th and Liberty Avenue then end at Commonwealth Place.
