Board of Commissioners will consider enacting an Ordinance Amending its Police Pension Plan Deferred Retirement Option Program Ordinance, regarding Definitions of DROP Participant, Eligibility, and Written Election.
Summary: Codifying Police CBA to define Eligible Participants as officers hired before 1-1-2020, with 56 yrs. of age and 26 yrs. of service, and also extending the Election period for Eligible Participants.
