The New Pittsburgh Courier has learned that Bynums Marketing & Communications, Inc. has been hired by WQED to provide education to the Black community about the stations diverse programming. In its new role, Bynums Marketing & Communications, Inc. will focus on building greater community awareness about WQED programming and encouraging the community to interact with all of the station’s offering.
“Education is at the core of our mission here at WQED. We have formed this new relationship with Bynums Marketing & Communications to reach the Black community in a way that is culturally sensitive and effective in educating its various segments. Bynums’ years of trusted, reliable experience and their insight will help us communicate the many benefits of WQED,” says Deborah L. Acklin, President and Chief Executive Officer of WQED Multimedia.
