Making ‘Dreamz’ Come True — Dreamz Hair Salon in Homestead holds Dreamz Disney Christmas Party

On Saturday, Dec. 7, girls who attended the Dreamz Disney Christmas Party were treated like princesses.

They got a chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes, received a number of presents, and the organization Pretty Young Ladies was presented a $200 check for a trip to Cleveland. It’s Dreamz Hair Salon’s way of continuing its commitment to giving back to the African American community in Homestead and neighboring areas.

Tenel Dorsey, leader of Dreamz Hair Salon, thanked those who helped make everything possible, including, among others, Jada House (50 Toys), Malcolm (Balloon Art), Dr. Sheila Beasley (toys and water), Pretty Young Ladies (dancers), Kayla (412 Family Kitchen), Lisa Johns (The Chair Lady), Ebony Johnson (bike, other toys), and the staff of Dreamz.
