Notice is hereby given by the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA that it will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the First Floor Conference Room, 200 Ross Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. The building is handicapped accessible through the rear. The purpose of this public hearing is to gather information for the City’s Annual Action Plan for FY 2019, which the City must submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement funds, HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds, Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funds. Additionally, the hearing will be used to solicit the views and comments of individuals and organizations concerning the housing, community and economic development, and fair housing needs in the City.
All interested residents are encouraged to attend this public hearing and they will be given the opportunity to present oral or written testimony concerning the needs of the City of Pittsburgh and the use of CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA funds to address those needs over the next fiscal year. The notice is hereby given by the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA is canceling the public hearing scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the First Floor Conference Room, 200 Ross Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
This meeting is going to be rescheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the First Floor Conference Room, 200 Ross Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. The building is handicapped accessible through the rear. In addition, the City is extending the time period that the draft Annual Action Plan for FY 2019 will be on display and online until Wednesday, June 19, 2019. The FY 2019 Annual Action Plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before Friday, June 28, 2019.
