My dream is to have a big event and give away my favorite things to all of the guests, kind of like a SWAG (stuff we all get) bag. Dreams do come true, who knows, the event may happen sooner than I think.
In the meantime I was thinking about my list of favorite things and how it has not changed much since I first wrote it. I’m glad the things that I still like so much are still around. Topping my list is Creamy Vaseline. I use this product on my hands and body. If my purse is big enough I always have a tube in my purse. You cannot find this product everywhere and when I go into some stores they have no idea what I am talking about. What I love most about Creamy Vaseline is it’s fragrance free. I don’t like hand lotion with fragrance because in most cases, with fragrance comes alcohol and alcohol dries your skin. I need to write a letter to Unilever and tell them to place this product in more stores. Another on the favorites list is flavored decaf coffee. Rarely do I drink high test coffee; it makes me so jittery. When I can find flavored decaf coffee I am so happy. Coffee manufacturers should realize that not everyone can have caffeine.
Wendy’s Apple Pecan Chicken Salad is my all-time favorite fast food salad. To tell the truth it is my favorite salad overall. I am so happy that Wendy’s still makes it. The last time I got one the blue cheese crumbles were forgotten, I was livid. That happens way too often. I try to go inside and order the salad so I can check the contents before I leave the restaurant. I called Wendy’s to report these incidents and they promised to call me back but they did not. One of my other favorites is Peeps, yes those yellow marshmallows that look like a little baby chick. I kind of like the pink rabbits also. Now there are Peeps for every season but I only buy them at Easter. Thinking of other favorite things to eat…I love Granny Smith apples with peanut butter. That combination is one of the best snacks and it is healthy. High thread count sheets were on the last list and are on this list as well. Don’t be fooled by sheets that have a high number on the label. Some sheets use the number as a brand name and then when you read the fabric content you find that the sheets are not high thread count at all. You may have to pay a little more for the better ones but they feel so good against your skin. Be careful of those micro-fiber sheets; after a short while they “pill” and pull the little hairs on your legs and arms. Horrible. Rounding out my list of favorite things are fashionable narrow shoes. Believe or not everyone does not wear a medium. When I find a fashionable narrow shoe I buy it. What’s on your list?
