Don’t loot (Sept. 6, 2017)

One news source said that no matter where we live we should begin to prepare for some type of unforeseen disaster. Perhaps we should always stock cases of water, have canned goods on hand, flashlights, batteries, and one thing that is good to have is a battery-operated radio. It is also a good idea to always keep your phone charged so you can use it as long as possible in the event of no power. There are a lot of things to think of in this kind of situation.
I pray for the victims of this massive flooding and hope the water soon subsides. Many of my clients from my day job have been affected and we cannot connect with them. I pray that they are somewhere safe. If you want to donate to help people in need in Texas, be careful how you donate your money. I was making a purchase at Ross and they have a program where you can add some money to your purchase and it will go directly to a relief program. A lot of crowdfunding sites are risky and you don’t know who has created them. You do not want to end up being a victim trying to help a victim.
