Vehicle Project Coordinator
Port Authority is seeking a Vehicle Project Coordinator to be responsible for development and management of programs and projects required to procure revenue vehicles required by Port Authority to provide service for current and future operational needs. This position also works closely with the Bus Maintenance Support Department on technical related issues and maintenance incidents for investigation and engineering support.
Job requirements include:
•BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Automotive or related Engineering or Technology fields from an accredited school. Demonstrated experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of eight (8) years experience in the specification, manufacturing and maintenance of vehicle equipment (preferably transit vehicle equipment) with four (4) years supervisory/management experience in bus and/or transit vehicle maintenance.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Ability to function as a team player and work harmoniously with other people.
•Valid PA driver’s license.
Preferred attributes:
•Registered Engineer in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain registration through reciprocity.

The Borough of Homestead, PA is opening the search for the position of Borough Manager. Homestead has a population of 3,150, an annual operating budget of $4.2 million, and a workforce of 38 employees. Homestead is a full service Borough located abutting the City of Pittsburgh with a vigorous, new retail and mixed use development on an expansive, former steel mill site and an older Central Business District in transition. A seven (7) member Council and a Mayor govern the Borough.
Minimum requirements for applicants are a bachelor’s degree in public administration, accounting, or a related field and two (2) years experience in a manager/secretary, assistant manager/secretary position, or finance director position or three (3) years experience in local government administration in a manager/secretary, assistant manager/secretary, or finance director position with an associate degree in business or financial management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a manager/secretary position in a PA municipality similar to the Borough of Homestead. Core competencies in budgeting and finance management, personnel administration including labor negotiations and relations, and grant writing/administration skills are necessary and should be demonstrable. Community outreach skills are highly desirable as are business district revitalization skills.
The position offers a competitive salary between $45 – $60K, depending on qualifications, and an excellent, generous benefit package. The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Portfolio Analytics and Strategy Specialist I in Pittsburgh, PA to provide in-depth analytics support on Business Banking Lending and Business Credit Card portfolios. Specific duties include: (i) extract and manipulate raw data from sources such as mainframe, Oracle, and UNIX using programming tools such as SAS and SQL to enable analysis and strategy development; (ii) design, develop, and validate marketing, underwriting, and portfolio management analysis to optimize portfolio risk adjusted returns; (iii) support model development of CCAR, Basel, and other models; (iv) produce P&L’s across multiple segments such as product, channel, and industry; (v) develop loss forecasting, reporting and test tracking for each channel; (vi) support the business through ad hoc analyses; (vii) further the development of customer/prospect segmentation across each channel; (viii) provide recommendations for strategy, development, and manage execution of credit risk authorizations and fraud management; (ix) understand drivers of profitability, loss and capital requirements, including funding costs; and (x) clearly communicate results to business partners, senior management, and cross-functional working committees.
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Management Science, Finance, or Business Administration plus 3 years of experience in a statistical modeling role is required. Experience must include: (i) providing analysis that supports financial strategy development; (ii) data management and analysis skills with SAS products (Base, Enterprise Guide, and Enterprise Miner) that includes importing and exporting raw data, manipulating and transforming data, combining SAS datasets, data step programming, writing and interpreting SAS SQL code, and creating and using the SAS MACRO facility; (iii) database management in Oracle and Teradata environments writing SQL queries; (iv) working with UNIX servers; (v) developing and implementing predictive models, working with statistical modeling and data mining techniques that includes analysis of variance, linear and logistic regression analysis, CHAID trees, clustering algorithms and measuring model performance; (vi) summarizing and writing up of analytic results in Power Point and presenting results to management; and (vii) working with P&L and balance sheet drivers and components.

Specific duties include: (i) work with Model Owners and Specialists and independently perform validations of high impact models in compliance with OCC 2011 -12 and PNC’s Model Validation Policy and Guidelines; (ii) as member of the Model Risk Management Group, provide oversight and execution to the model validation activities; (iii) collect data and assumptions used in models, including model output, in preparation for model validation; (iv) conduct robust and comprehensive model validation testing and analysis in accordance with PNC’s Model Validation Policy and Guidelines; (v) document and present model validation results to the head of the Model Risk Management Group; and (vi) provide support/analysis on key models assigned, such as mortgage servicing models, QRM, or other complex models.
Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Markets, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics plus 3 years of experience in a position requiring quantitative financial modeling or statistical modeling or validation is required. Experience must include: (i) asset valuation, loss forecasting, capital calculation, choice modeling and/or risk analysis; (ii) work with a financial services firm/organization focusing on analytic applications in a modeling, model risk, or other quantitative capacity; (iii) SAS, R, VBA or Matlab for statistical/stochastic modeling, simulation work and large data set data sets involving large numbers of records (>10K) or variables (>100) or source systems; and (iv) development of testing methodologies, including various statistical tests and stress tests, and the creation of working papers. Must have knowledge of modeling methodologies and designs and the impact of models on business decision-making.
