The Gateway Medical Society hosted its Journey to Medicine Promotion Ceremony at UPMC Shadyside Hospital’s Herberman Conference Center, located at 5150 Centre Ave., in Shadyside.
Students from the 8th through 12th grades presented their special projects and were recognized for their participation in this medical program.
The program was set up to create more interest in Black male students in the medical field.
