PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Port Authority is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to be responsible for the oversight and coordination of communication functions within the Communications Division and in collaboration with other Authority divisions and departments. Directly oversees materials developed for public use by Marketing, Creative Services, Communications and other departments.
Job requirements include:
•BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations or related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Three (3) years’ experience in public relations, marketing, journalism or other relevant area.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with social media technology and trends.
•Effective and professional written and verbal communications skills.
•Valid PA driver’s license.
•Must be willing to take on duties outside of regular business hours, including but not limited to: updating social media channels and website, attending meetings and assisting Public Relations with media-related tasks.
