QUANTITATIVE ANALYTICS AND MODEL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT SENIOR
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Quantitative Analytics and Model Development Consultant Senior in Pittsburgh, PA responsible for: (i) driving statistical models and recommendations that measure risk parameters for the wholesale portfolio; (ii) working collaboratively with team members across the organization to perform data analyses, data mining, complex mathematical modeling, PD/LGD/EAD modeling, ALLL quantification, CCAR/DFAST stress testing modeling and Basel II/III modeling; (iii) utilizing a strong understanding of debt instruments, lending and underwriting practices, and credit risk measurement; (iv) working with Working Groups, comprising of senior executives, and Model Risk Management Group (MRMG) to solve their foremost challenges related to developing models for quantifying risk, including loan origination, deal underwriting, portfolio management and regulatory compliance; (v) assessing the model development requirements, conduct analysis to develop and support recommendations, provide advice and share expertise on issues and concerns raised by Working Groups and MRMG; and (vi) demonstrating a high level understanding of the ideas, research and products developed by external risk-consulting firms and rating agencies.
Master’s degree in Business, Statistics/ Biostatistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or Engineering plus 6 years of experience in a quantitative analysis position is required. Experience must include: (i) statistics modeling (linear regression model, Panel Data regression, time series econometrics, logit/probit modeling, and Fixed Effect modeling, including relaxing assumptions); (ii) complex mathematical modeling (involving probability distributions, derivatives, integration, mathematical equations, simulations, and optimization); (iii) data mining for predictive models for regression; (iv) design and selection of model methodology or framework to fit empirical data; (v) experience with SAS (Base, Stat and Graph) and R; and (vi) developing CCAR/DFAST stress testing and PPNR models and development of PD, LGD and EAD models.

Job requirements include:
•Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology or related degree from an accredited school.

•Effective and professional written and communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
