The City of Pittsburgh, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, will be accepting bids, through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS), for the total replacement of the Greenfield Avenue Bridge. The work will include the implosion of the existing concrete arch bridge and the construction of a steel arch bridge over Interstate 376 (Parkway East).
The construction plans and specifications can only be viewed on the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s ECMS website https://www.dot14.state.pa.us/ECMS/. The bid documents should be available on, or shortly after, Thursday June 11, 2015.

The Project is funded by the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Trade Practices Act and Americans with Disabilities Act apply to the project. Public Works Contractors’ Bond Law: Payment and Performance Bonds (100% of Contract Value) and a two (2) year Maintenance Bond are required on this project. The Prevailing Wage Determination Act is applicable for this project and notarized certified payrolls shall be properly executed and submitted for review and approval.
