Lunch and Learn Series
MAY 28—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host its Lunch & Learn Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business Branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic will be “Know Your Options: Different Types of Businesses.” Joyce Pearl and Steve Cohen, both of SCORE, will discuss the various business models, including home –based, nonprofit, online and franchises. Members’ Mixer
MAY 28—The African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania will host its Members’ Mixer from 5-7 p.m. at Hosanna House, 807 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg. This is an opportunity to meet associate member Al Merritt and learn how Hosanna House reaches out to assist and impact individuals and families in our community.
