Many people do not know what to do if they disagree with an IRS determination about their taxes. There are options available if you would like to plead your case. Every year, more than 100,000 taxpayers addressed tax disputes through the IRS’s appeals process. The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants explains when you might consider an appeal and how it works.
