
The 100 Black Men of Western Pennsylvania sponsored a Mentoring Round Table session last month at the CCAC North Side campus, located on Ridge Avenue, in its Tom Forester Student Service Center auditorium.

Everett Davon Kelly, author of “From Courtside to the Boardroom,” was the keynote speaker. He’s also the COO of NOVAD Consulting Company out of Maryland.

Since 2003, Kelly has grown his premier business, NOVAD Management Consulting from a one-man shop to a multi-million dollar company employing over 150 employees and consultants in the Washington, D.C., metro area; Atlanta; Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Santa Ana, Calif. NOVAD provides project management, strategic planning, business process re-engineering, financial advisory services, asset and property management, IT support, and training and coaching services.

Before establishing NOVAD, Kelly garnered over 15 years of experience in commercial banking, general accounting services, organizational assessments and project management with both the Federal Government and large private industry organizations.
