I love “Red Carpet” season, the dresses, the interviews the tuxedos. It reminds me of old Hollywood, the days when the stars were always dressed to the nines.
This year the pre- show of the NAACP Image Awards was full of fashion.
My two favorites Gabrielle Union in a pale pink Gauri & Nainika and Angela Bassett wearing Xcite Xtreme. Gauri & Nainika are two young ladies that launched their line in New Delhi in 2002, an evening wear brand that features cocktail dresses to bespoke gowns.
They say their brand is inspired by old Hollywood and theatre. “Yes I can see we are on the same page.” As for the Xcite – Xtreme line it is affordable and can be found online, beautiful embellished dresses that can rock the red carpet.
