Installation Ceremony
DEC. 17—The NAACP Pittsburgh Branch will host its Installation Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at Petra International Ministries, 235 Eastgate Dr., East Hills. The newly elected 2015-2017 NAACP officers and executive committee will be installed. For more information, call 412-471-1024.
Community Conversation
DEC. 19—The Black Political Empowerment Project, the Alliance for Police Accountability, The Northside Pastors Alliance and others will host a Breakfast and “Community Conversation” with Pittsburgh Police Chief Cameron McLay from 9-11 a.m. at Project Destiny Inc., 2200 California Ave., North Side. The event will be facilitated by Lisa Sylvester of WPXI-TV and includes breakfast. Attendees are welcomed to submit their concerns, questions and suggestions. Reservations are required by Dec. 12.
