Entrepreneur Club presents End of Session Showcase

H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow Inc., in collaboration with Junior Achievement and the Sheraden Library, presented their Minding My Business Entrepreneur Club for Kids End of Session Showcase on Nov. 5 at the Sheraden Library. The event offered a youth-focused interactive display of the concepts the local middle and elementary school program participants have learned in the MMB program, which provides knowledge to children that will enable them to make smarter decisions for their future.
The library was set up gallery-style so attendees could walk around and interact directly with the program participants, ask questions, challenge them and get to know who will be leading our community in a few years!
There were snacks and products prepared for all attendees by the H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow entrepreneurs.
H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow Inc. is a non-profit organization with a holistic approach to health and well-being: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually. It’s a not for profit agency providing services to members of the Greater Pittsburgh community through partnerships developed with local schools, churches and juvenile and adult court systems. Its intention is to foster a commitment to members of the community which will promote healthy self-image, self-esteem and self-expression leading to the development of stronger members of society in tomorrow’s world.

JEYNAVA TRAORE, a 12-year-old who attends Young Scholars of Western Pa Charter School, gives her report on Italy.

JUNIOR ACHIEVERS—Hunter Paolino, 8, Sydney Pridgen, 9, and Sakiyih Allenshevy, 10, came together to create “Junior Achievement,” a venture where they showcase money and finances.

MAKING OLD INTO NEW—Students Kennedi Paolino, 10, La’Taiziah Meggett, 10, and Asia Snead, 10, all from Westwood Elementary, came up with their venture called “UpCycling” in which they can turn your old dress into a new dress or other items.

FATERA TRAORE, a 14-year-old from Young Scholars of Pa Charter School, showcases her project on China.

K’AIJHA GOMEZ, a 12-year-old from Young Scholars of Western Pa Charter School, gives her report on Scandinavia.
