Cincinnati won ugly while the Steelers lost despite scoring 32 points dropping them a game and a half behind the Bengals. The two will face each other twice during the final four weeks of the season.
The Steelers, 7-5, travel to Cincinnati, 8-3-1 this weekend in a must game for the Steelers if they have any chance of winning the tough AFC North. But at least they don’t have to worry about the rest of the division as the Baltimore Ravens lost a heartbreaker, 34-33, to the San Diego Chargers, while the Cleveland Browns, 7-5, lost to the Buffalo Bills 26-10.
Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown racked up the stats, but the game was more lopsided in favor of the New Orleans Saints, 5-7, as turnovers by the offense set up Drew Brees and crew in constant good field position and the defense couldn’t stop them.
Roethlisberger threw the ball 50 times completing 32 passes for 435 yards and two touchdowns with 16 going to Brown and Bell. Bell had a record 159 yards on 8 catches out of the backfield while Brown had 97 yards on 8 catches and 2 touchdowns. Bell also had 95 yards on the ground on 21 carries.
Andy Dalton has been sporadic all this season with a red hot start to then cooling off and now getting hot again leading his team to the top of the tough AFC North.
