Just Sayin’…Burning our own communities?

I’ve done parts of this column before but after watching the businesses burn in Ferguson and violence in Cleveland and other cities plus listening to some of the so-called Black leaders justify it, I have to revisit this issue.
First of all I have a serious problem with people burning down businesses and homes in their own communities. How many people are unemployed because of the burning and looting? How many people looking for a job now have no chance of getting that full time or even part time job because the business has been burnt down? And to make matters worse, what business would possibly want to locate in that community now?
The majority of residents did not do this stupidity as we have been led to believe, only a minority of hoodlums and thugs, and misguided youth. But there was enough to do major damage in Ferguson. This community is like all other Black communities, the majority of people are hard working low to middle income families who want police presence in their community to protect them from the hoodlums and thugs in the community whose livelihood is taking advantage of the rest of the community.
