Light Up a Life
NOV. 28—Adoption Connection, PA will host Light Up a Life at First Presbyterian Church, 252 College Ave., Beaver. This is a celebration of adoption and foster care all while learning about older child adoptions with ACPA and the Statewide Adoption Network. There will be pictures with the Elf on the Shelf, and free foodie baggies, cookies, carolers and more. Grandmother of Pearls
NOV. 29—Grandmothers of Pearls will host its Gathering from 3:30-6 p.m. at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Homewood Branch, 2nd floor, 1701 Hamilton Ave., in Homewood. This is an event for grandmothers or greater, and guests must wear a real or costume pearl necklace. Entertainment and refreshments will be served.
