Vision Towards Peace counseling services held their awards banquet entitled “Passion Meets the Road” on Oct. 3 at the Union Project.
Honorees for the evening were: Forerunner award recipients State Rep. Ed Gainey, Charles Keenan of Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Theresa Kail-Smith of Pittsburgh City Council (Dist. 2) and Kelly Wolfgang of Community Care Behavioral Health; Entrepreneur award recipients Shawn McGill of Shawn McGill Consulting and Brooke Generett of Generett Counseling Services LLC.; and Roadrunner award recipients Vernard Alexander of the Re-Employment Transition Center, Wanda Beastley of the Office of Children, Youth & families, Ricky Moody of Ricky Moody Southwood Psychiatric Hospital, Karen Usher of Power and Donna Wasim of Familylinks.
