Domestic Violence Presentation
OCT. 22—The Community College of Allegheny County, Crisis Center North, UPMC Passavant and the Passavant Hospital Foundation will host “Stabbed in the Heart: A Story About Domestic Violence, Homicide and Transformation” from 12-2 p.m. at CCAC Allegheny Campus, Foerster Student Service Auditorium, 808 Ridge Ave., North Shore. Lynn Shiner, author and director of the Office of Victims’ Services of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Deliquency, will be the keynote speaker. Registration is requested. Gateway Medical Society Gala

Step Afrika!
OCT. 25—The Center for Organ Recovery & Education along with the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Health Sciences Diversity will host Step Afrika! Racial Justice Awards Luncheon
