GAYS IN THE CHURCH—Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company closed its 2013-2014 season with the play, “The Gospel Singer.” The Company will open its 2014-2015 season Oct. 4 at the theater with “Book of Ezra,” a one-man play written and starring Leslie Ezra Smith, and directed by Mark Clayton Southers. “The Gospel Singer” focused on gays in the church.
