Valerie Dixon, executive director, The P.A.C.T. Initiative (Prevent Another Crime Today), held a press conference Sept. 5 in which on behalf of the parents of double homicide victims Demetrius Broadnax and Jasmine Morris she issued a public plea for justice in the murder of their children at the Diverse Banquet Hall in Homewood where five other people were also shot and no arrest to date have been made.

The Ruff Ryder Motorcycle Club conducted a Ride for Justice starting at Highland Park and ending up directly in front of the Diverse Banquet Hall, to make a public plea for someone to come forward with a tip to lead to the arrest and conviction of these horrendous killers who still roam the streets of Pittsburgh.

There have been four unsolved double homicides that have occurred in AlleÂgheny County in the past year and none have been solved, Dixon said in a release.

Only an arrest for the two sisters killed in East Liberty. These families seek the same justice, she said.
