The Northside Institutional Church Outreach Ministry recently presented it 2nd Annual Community Service Awards Banquet at the Central Northside Banquet Hall. The event honored individuals and organizations from the Greater Pittsburgh area that have demonstrated a willingness to give back to their communities.
The Master of Ceremonies was Minister Brady Hill and Sharon McDaniel, of A Second Chance Inc., gave the keynote address. The organizer and chairperson was Staci Webb-Latimer and the Urban Pathways Charter School’s “Sounds of Steel” performed.
The list of awardees included Sala Udin, Evangelist Roberta Watkins, Sabrina Saunders, Erica Walton and Lori Pickens, Terin Hicks, Gail Manker, Ed Glover, Anthony Barron, Paige Green, English Burton, Fredrick Eugene Bulls, Earl Baldwin, Parrish Davenport, J.E. Gamble, Mark Brentley and Ronell Guy.
