Jazz Jam
CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night. Jazz+Hip Hop
MCG Jazz presents Jazz+Hip Hop at 6 p.m. at James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy, 422 Foreland St., North Side. The evening filled with Jazz and hip-hop will feature musicians MaVe Sami, Mark Jackovic, William Macirowski and Julian Powell. Hip-hop artists will perform to live jazz accompaniment, and musicians, poets and hip-hop artists will come together to share a brief history of how the links of Jazz and hip-hop are tightly woven.
