• I don’t know how many times I have to tell you, go see James Brown. The movie is simply great!
• The truth is, the Pirates, or for that matter any professional team, should be able to go two weeks without their star player, especially if they had a real closer! I’m just sayin.
• Having said that, if Andrew McCutchen is avoiding going on the disabled list, it says three things . . . #1 ~ he’s a team player. #2 ~ he has a high tolerance for pain. And #3 ~ for real . . . for real, the injury isn’t as bad as suggested. If it was, he wouldn’t play. That’s the truth. And if you’ve played anything but checkers, you know it’s the truth.
• The Spurs make history by hiring the first female assistant coach. Look, I’m okay with women doing anything they want. I – Love – Women. But of course no surprise The Spurs do everything the right way. The question is, can she stand “Pop”?
• Tiger! Shut it down. Sit this one out. Get on the couch, rest, rehab till next year then go get the four titles. Hey, everybody relax here.
• I told you it was coming. The Steelers kick it off Saturday. Yes – I – Am – Ready – For – Some – Football!!!
• We want to send a big Pittsburgh shout-out to Dominick Gambino and Diversified Municipal Services for stepping up to the plate and hitting a home run to help the youth of East Liberty/ Garfield take part in the Armon Gilliam Hard Work Basketball Camp. We couldn’t have done it without you.
