To Tell The Truth…Does Bill Robinson champion the Black agenda alone?

Yes Bill paid the price for standing up in the behalf of the Black community. This issue occurred in the 1990s, but here we are in 2014 and the same issues that cost Bill his house seat have surfaced again.
This time it involves gas drilling. Allegheny County Councilman Robinson is taking on the reincarnation of Tom Foerster in Allegheny County Exec. King Richard Fitzgerald, who fired Jack Simmons and had Bill Robinson replaced as Budget chairman while the Black community was mute. Will Bill Robinson stand alone again?
Allegheny County is contemplating signing a gas drilling lease and Bill is showing the same concern he had with the stadiums; is it written in the proposed lease that “Blacks will be hired?”
A number of colored politicians, preachers and organizations that are recipients of county financial aid have been summoned by the King to appear before Allegheny County Council to testify in support of the gas drilling lease. It is my concern that this is a blatant attempt to confuse White council members and thereby minimize if not an attempt to disregard Bill Robinson’s insertion in the lease the words “Blacks must be hired.”
