Where Only the Truth Matters
• The only question anybody should be asking about any athlete is . . . can he or she play and can they help my team win? That’s it . . . not who they’re sleeping with!

• We all knew Pitt would rebound against Boston College . . . okay, almost all of us. Now the question is can they go to Notre Dame where they always have trouble as of late and take care of business. Then they come home to wrap up the home schedule against N.C. State on Monday. No rest for the weary in the ACC.
• The . . . no, I’m sorry . . . your Pittsburgh Pirates took two spring training games from the Yankees and Derek Jeter. Hold on there Suzie. These aren’t your daddy’s Yankees. These are the new and improved “old Yankees.” They still have plenty of work to do to match last year’s historic season.
• New York Knicks’ guard, Raymond Felton, caught a break when they hit him with a lesser gun charge, but he could have been looking at 3½ mandatory . . . hello, when you’re in New York, don’t carry a gun!!! You have a billion dollars or so, hire a private security detail. C’mon man.
• The use of the N-word is not and should not be considered endearing. Anyone that uses the word or allows its use is more enslaved than our forefathers. “They” want you to keep using it on each other to keep you in chains. Wake up my brothers. Why do you think they say the N-word and not “nigger” . . . cause the real word still causes pain when you use it!
