Once a year on a Sunday in December the men of EMANON, that is “no name” spelled backwards, gets together with family and friends to celebrate the holidays. It is a joyous affair. This year the Yuletide Party was held on Dec. 8, at the Penn Hills Comfort Inn. EMANON has the formula for fun. The evening started with crudité, hot apple cider and chilled eggnog.
Dr. Lawrence Davis was in charge of the infamous ice breakers. Anyone who filled out the ice breaker sheet completely and would tell a funny joke or show off their beautiful legs walked away with a prize.

This year’s joke tellers were Nancy Hill and Kathy Towns. Yes it is that kind of party, full of fun and laughs.

President Clarence Curry welcomed the guests and dinner was served promptly at 7 p.m. After a beautiful meal, Curry reflected on the passing of the last surviving charter member of EMANON William Edward Green Sr. His daughter, Nancy Hill, spoke briefly about her dad and how special this group of men has been to her family. The crowd danced to the melodious sounds of Flo Wilson and the Flo Wilson Band. As always the party was a great way to send out the old year and usher in the new.
