Tuskegee Airmen Celebrated at New Horizon Gala

CELEBRATION GALA—Chairperson Joyce Meggerson-Moore, PhD, New Horizon Theater Inc. board chair, was extremely pleased that Layon Gray’s “Black Angels Over Tuskegee” was a success. The fantastic play was met with a rousing standing ovation by the Pittsburgh audience at the Byham Theater. It was followed by a  Memorial in Sewickley where many of the guests are from. The gala, sponsored by New Horizon Theater, celebrated the successful play, the Memorial as well as the airmen and their families. Pictured above, from left: Elaine Effort, KQV Radio; Dr. Edmund D.
