The 7th annual Shyne Awards honor youth

VOICES AGAINST VIOLENCE The Young Adult Group Award

 

 

The 7th annual Shyne Awards was held Aug.  3,  at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture. It included a Red Carpet event  for all youth achievers and an awards ceremony,  in which youth were honored for their outstanding achievements as well as adults with outstanding youth programs. Hosea Chanchez from BET’s hit television show “The Game” was the emcee. Orlana and Darnell Drewery were the creators and organizers of the Shyne Awards.
