JUNE 7—The Committee of the Northview Heights Reunion will host “Grazin’ In the Green” the Old Northview Heights Reunion from 3-11 p.m. at Riverview Park, Valley Refuge Grove, North Side. The afternoon will include food, family, friends and fun.
Walk for Haiti
JUNE 8—The Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti will host the Great Shepherd Walk for Haiti at 8 a.m. at Highland Park, Sycamore Grove, Pittsburgh. NAACP Meeting

Fatherhood Celebration
JUNE 15—The Greater Pittsburgh Area MAD DADS will host the 7th Annual Fatherhood Celebration at Port Authority’s Hammnet Station Park & Ride, Wilkinsburg. This is a community-wide, family oriented cookout that strives to bring fathers and families together and to provide structured, supervised activities for children of the community. Father’s Day Cookout

Rally Against Prostate Cancer
JUNE 16—The Prostate Health Education Network will host the “Fifth Annual Rally Against Prostate Cancer” at various churches nationwide. This is an education and awareness effort with a focus on the Black community. Prostate cancer survivors, along with loved ones who have lost someone to the disease, will be recognized and join hands in prayer and healing. Tribute to Fathers
JUNE 16—The Afro American Music Institute will host “A Tribute to Fathers” Musical Theatre and Dinner at 4 p.m. at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum, 7310 Frankstown Ave., Homewood. The theme is “Honoring Fathers and Funders.” This is part of the Institute’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Proceeds from the event will fund the performance group’s tours. Wilkinsburg Farmers’ Market
JUNE 20—The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation will host the Wilkinsburg Farmers’ Market from 3-6 p.m. at the Parking Lot, between 732 and 744 Ross Ave., Wilkinsburg. The market will be held every Thursday through Nov. 21.
Stop the Violence
JUNE 29—B. Marshall Productions, American Eagle Outfitters and the Pittsburgh Pirates will host the Juneteenth Stop the Violence Community Awareness Day from 12-5 p.m. at Stage AE, 400 N. Shore Dr., North Shore. There will be motivational speakers, live entertainment, resource information, various presentations and more.
