MARCH 31—The Rachel Randall Education Dept. of Pentecostal Temple COGIC, 6300 East Liberty Blvd., East Liberty, will host “The World and the Word,” an Adult Education Life Skills Program Series at 11 a.m. The first workshop is entitled “Household Spending Plan-You Need a Budget.” The series is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Night at the Museum

MARCH 31—Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Rd., Churchill, will host A Night at the Museum: A Holy Week Discovery at 6 p.m. There will be tours, innovative discoveries of the key events of Holy Week and more. Palm Sunday

APRIL 1—The Five N One Churches of the Hill District will host a Palm Sunday Worship Service and Fellowship at 4 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2629 Wylie Ave., Hill District. Bishop David Zubik will bring the message. There will also be a week of worship services featuring pastors from various Hill District churches from April 2-6 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. APRIL 2—The East End Baptist Fellowship will host its 2012 Holy Week Services at 7 p.m. at Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church, 6940 Frankstown Ave., Homewood. The theme is “Stay Focused on Jesus” and the Word will be preached by Rev. Dr. Darryl Canady, Rev. Dr. William Curtis, Rev. Daniel Page and Rev. John Knight. Holy Week will run through April 6. North Ave., North Side, will host a Candle Light Luncheon: “Women In Transition” from 12-2 p.m. This is for the launching of the HOPE Project, a community action project to assist homeless women transitioning to permanent housing.
