The topic is “Federal Tax Credits-Which Ones Can You Claim?” Tax Specialist Patrick N. Price, of the IRS, will explain the basics of each credit, so that one can determine which ones apply them. FEB. 10—Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship will host its Women Business Leaders Breakfast Series from 7:30-9 a.m. at the University’s James Laughlin Music Hall, Woodland Road, Oakland. The topic is “Re-Inventing and Growing A One-Product Company.” Christine Robbins, CEO of BodyMedia Inc., will discuss how her company found a strategy to take a single product and leverage it for year-over-year growth. Job Fair

FEB. 15—Community College of Allegheny County will host Get Working Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Allegheny Campus, Foerster Student Service Center, 800 Allegheny Ave., North Side. Every Wednesday throughout the semester the college will hold a job fair with representatives from the region’s employers. Bidding Seminar

FEB. 16—Duquesne University’s Small Business Development Center will host its Responsible and Responsive Bidding Seminar from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University’s Rockwell Hall, 600 Forbes Ave., Uptown. The workshop will discuss the key elements in putting together a comprehensive bid for any company that estimates and bids on contracting opportunities. Registration is required. Networking mixer

The featured guest for the morning will be Michael Lamb, City of Pittsburgh Controller, and he will discuss the city’s fiscal health and procurement opportunities for Chamber Members.
