Pistella, a public benefits attorney for Neighborhood Legal Services Association, will discuss those programs funded by the government that help individuals and families in need. The topic is “Build Your Business Using ‘Every Door Direct Mail’ an Exciting Shipping Solution from the US Postal Service.” Michelle Dugas, business development specialist for the US Postal Service, will discuss an efficient way to promote one’s services by getting their marketing message directly into the hands of customers while reducing the mail preparation costs associated with it. This seminar is for individuals with no previous business experience and will discuss topics, such as business structure and formation, employee issues, financing options, taxation requirements and more. Campaign Training

JAN. 21—The Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics at Chatham University will host its Ready o Run Campaign Training for Women at Chatham University’s Mellon Hall, Woodland Rd., Oakland. This is a bi-partisan program for women who want to run for office, seek higher office, work on a campaign, get appointed to office or learn more about the political system.
